I'm not saying we should win a SB with this team...BUT...I'll bet you a better QB than Chad would have gotten us out of Clev with a win today... that said... At this point our QB situation isn't the major problem...it's just part of the problem... but... to be honest I was dissapointed that the Jets didn't take a franchise QB on draft day and instead chose to build the O-Line... It aint like you're in a position to draft a really solid franchise QB every year and it aint like Anthony Munoz was coming out this year...while I can somewhat understand drafting O-Line over QB I couldn't understand it this year...

If you put Lienart behind a line without D'brick and Mangold he would have ha da terrible season. Just look at what he is doing in Arizona. The O'line was much more important.
How old are you and how many losing seasons have you endured? I'm not as old as some of the old-timers...but...I go back to AJ Duey and the AFC Championship game...that's a lot of bad losses from then til now...I'm talking about the fiasco of the Marino fake spike (and the subsequent collapse)....I'm talkin about 10-1 (and then 5 straight losses and an atrocious loss to Cleveland in OT of the playoffs)....I'm talking about 1-15....I'm talking about 3-13....I'm talking about Herm having Chad take a knee to make the field goal in Pitts even longer....I'm talking about a lof of frustrating shit... God forbid I criticize Chad though or anyone else...you know what guy? Fuck you...I've earned my right to blow my stack after a putrid loss like this
Our D has sucked in every game this season, but luckily in the games we won our offense was able to compensate for their shortcomings. but i thought how we would fare when pennington and our offense would have a bad day. it showed back when we played JAX and now today that we cant rely on the D to win the game for us when our offense cant. only 108 yds for Penny and 50 yds for Leon. No offensive tds. Another rb got another career high in yds off our d. It sux that our offense has to be nearly perfect every week b/c our defense refuses to stop anybody.
Perhaps, but my point being... Get the QB now when he's available and then either draft an O-L next year or get one in FA...OLinemen become more available than great QBs
