It is true Don. That is another reason to not want to wear his jersey. He didn't even want to be here. Its sad really.

Wearing any Jets jersey is a tribute to the team no matter the name or number on it.

Favre is a HOFer and he was a Jets QB, nothing wrong with wearing his Jersey. I have one and still wear it when not wearing my Sanchez one.

If you don't want your Favre Jersey anymore send it to me.

Favre and his putrid performance down the stretch of last season was easily the single biggest reason the Jets didn't make the playoffs.

My wife bought me a Farvre jersey for Christmas last year and I also have a Favre jersey shirt. I probably only worn both a couple of times, so there are now in Jersey heaven with the rest of my ex-jets. (Vilma, Coles, Pennington, Moss and Keyshawn Johnson) I just went ahead a purchased a Joe Namath away jersey so I wouldnt worry about that crap. I also have a Martin jersey.

Hopefully the #4 Favre's turn into #6 Sanchez shirts by the end of the season. I have a Favre jersey but will not wear it to a game. At this point, I feel as if I will never wear it again at all. But that is just me.

At a Jets/Patroits game, the more green jerseys the better regardless the number on the back.

Just for the record, I wear #25 K. Rhodes and have been since 2007.

the first jersey my dad ever bought me was keyshawn johnson, go figure chrebet was my fave player, anyway i never wore it and when he was traded i wiped my ass with it and burned it, the only reason i kept it was because my father bought it for me, but after the trade it was completely useless.

ive never posted about this untill now and im rereading my post and i sound like a little ungrateful bastard... but this went beyond father and son, this was the jets. believe me my father was onboard with the whole thing.

i saw tons and it disgusts me to see a jets fan wearing them.any player that was here for one year, his jersey should never been wore again.but if a player is here and he becomes your favorite jet, then fine wear it.

but this is brett freakin favre, buy a new one cheapos.

I saw quite a few, but what are folks supposed to do, throw them out? You're supporting the JETS, not someone who is no longer here. I think I'll break out my replica of a replica of a replica Santana Moss jersey soon just to prove a point.

for people to think that one man is the blame for everything and throw his jersey away that cost people $70-$200 is fucking retarded.

    stop caring so much.

You do realize that if he had won the Miami game, Mangini would still be here. He may have given us the best present ever? We shall see.

That is a decent point, but I could never wear his jersey again. I would rather wear my Neil O'Donnell jersey. (Yes, I have one. Haha.)

    whiny vagoo itt.
seriously its about wearing green and white at the stadium. period. i don't give a crap if it says Tits McGee on the back. its a Jets jersey, that the Jets organization is profiting from thus ensuring that the Jets continue to be able to support talented players which in turn, hopefully, translates into playoffs with the dream of a SuperBowl.

end of story. what? he left... waaaa. get the flip over it. its his fault? really, i wonder, then, why mangini got canned. happenstance? additionally, he ended up where he wanted to be, and due to his retiring, it wasn't as costly as it could've been. he threw mangini under the bus and tannenbaum stepped up and took some of the responsibility. seriously, if he did infact tell the CS he was injured, how is the way the season panned out his fault? i'm not a favre lover but this thread is just plain silly.
