He'd be a sure top 5 on most of our lists...

I think Jacobs can be a real good starter but obviously NY doesn't agree.

    Oh, I like this stuff.

    1. Tomlinson - Duh.

    2. LJ - Not as big a fan of him as others, and I don't think he'll have a very long career. Still, can't deny what he's done so far.

    3. Frank Gore - Lets see...runs hard, has good speed, great build, and the 49ers coaching staff has shown they aren't incompetent. A good bet to be very good for a long time. Has better hands than given credit for, and

3B-4. Stephen Jacksons - Basically the same thing as Gore but a little less speed. Very good hands.

    5. Tiki Barber - Sad to see him go. Great player who got better as he got older.

    6. Shaun Alexander - Ran behind a great line. Still, he's a very good RB and deserves to be in the top 10.

    7. Brian Westbrook - Another season like this one and he's got to enter top 5 talk.

    8. Edge James - Always thought he was a little overrated, but still one of the better all around RBs in the league.

    9. Willie Parker - Seems to me he's a little underrated. Doesn't have the typical RB build, wasn't a high draft pick, and etc. Still, he's looked good everytime I've seen him.

    10. Ladell Betts - People will be talking about him next year. IMO He's a better long term option than Portis for the Red Skins.

Ok no problem....his one mediocre year and one terrible year [along with injuries galore] won't make it hard to find 20 other RB's that are better.

    4. Steven Jackson
    5. Parker
    6. Rudi Johnson

He's has a career 3.8 ypc, has missed 2 full games in each year and missed bits and pieces of others (injury prone), is not much of a receiver, and really isn't much more then a pure power back. I'll list 15-20 when the All-Current Draft is done, as the Cadillac still might be in that range.

I was reading down the list and I was like damn maybe he has a point until I got to Ahman green, then tatum bell, then ronnie brown, and ladell betts.

    Seriously, WTF

edit* I just saw travis henry on the list haha, lock this thread. Travis henry did nothing for basically 3 years now hes a top 20 back for one good year ?

If you call his first year mediocre something is terribly wrong.

Matter of fact if cadillacs first year is mediocre then how are addai and jones drew on your list ?

    Ok , cool.

Well I'm not saying Travis Henry kicks his ass, he just seems to be better imo...but it IS close. Ahman Green has had an 1800 yard year...has Caddy done that? Has he come even close? Green had a good year, GB's leading rusher of all-time. Of course he's better. Tatum Bell is more explosive but he does have the Den. line. Even without the line I would still rank TB a little bit better. Ronnie Brown is questionable also but he also has a mediocre (at best) line. Betts had an amazing avg and isn't a top 15 RB imo but he's certainly having more potential than the damaged cadillac. Drew and Addai...I shouldn't even have to argue with this one. They're clear stars. Have you seen them play?! That's not even close.

Even if you want to take 1 or 2 of the RB's off the list, I would still have atleast 20 RB's who are better than C. Williams. His one year with that AMAZING 4.1 avg is sooo scary....

I agree with ATW on Cadillac, other than the 1st 6 games of his career he has been garbage and injury prone. And I don't think he can be a workhorse like TB needs him to be, and I am noticing people like to forget about McGahee, he is easily a top 10 RB

I appreciate your agreement with Caddy but explain to me how Willis is any different/better than Caddy? If anything, he might be worse. (jmo)

    11. edge-dropping b/c of age and arizona...but he has earned another year to prove himself
    12. mccalister

    15. chester taylor- i didnt think he would be this good
    16. addai
    17. t. jones

    26. carnell williams- looked terrible on a terrible team
    27. travis henry- this guy got a bad deal in buffalo...4.1 ypc career and benched after a 1300 yd season...every other back in the league count your blessings...this guy should be top 15

He has shown that he can last a whole season, and take away Caddy's fast start before his 1st injury and he hasn't even been starter quality

I can understand that. He probably is better, especially endurance wise. I still don't think that means he's a top 10 RB tho. I like to go by avg./carry lots of the time and when he goes up against a team that has an alright d-run game, he can hardly get past the LOS

I don't get what you're asking. The only part about 1800 I mentioned was Ahman Green....

& if you mean...Caddy ran for 1800 in 2 years...yeah..thats 900 per year...they ran A LOT...go look up stats bro, plenty of RB's have done that...
