    Playoff appearances mean nothing when you don't have a ring to show for it.

    The Greatest Show on Turf was an awesome nickname... just wild stuff. I am pretty young though I don't know many from the past as a result.

    I know I'm a little biased but "Gang Green" is a very cool name....

    I think the sack exchange ,altough they were not healthy a lot all together, still would have to fit in the top 10 rankings!

    Vikings never won one yet they get on there (NFL Championship does not equal a Super Bowl title!)

    Yes, but the Vikings got to 4 Super Bowls, largely because of their Defense, and secondly because teams couldn't beat them in the NFC Championships played in frigid, snowy Bloomington Stadium. Since they moved indoors, the Vikings have never won anything.

    Every team on the original list--with the exception of the Purple People Eaters--won a Super Bowl.

    More than that though, the Sack Exchange was only a one season thing. Even the hometown papers stopped using in 1982 because Klecko was out most of the year. Even thought Kenny Neil really picked up the slack well.

    Wasn't "America's Team" changed to "South America's Team" when some Cowboys started getting busted for cocaine use ?
