The green pants are awful. We should bring back white cleats just like back in the Parcells days. Black isn't a color of ours I don't know why we haven't switched to white kicks yet.
White on Green is the best unis in the nfl, period. Green on green is awesome too. They should always wear white on green on the road. They should split between green on white and green on green at home. White on white is the most hideous jerseys around. Gang green, where some green.
This may sound silly but since it has it's own thread, I think the white on white looks better during night games under the lights and the green jerseys on white pants looks better during the day with sunlight. I think different shades of light affect each jersey differently. The white on white under the lights brings out the green trim more IMO and it has a sharper look to it. That being said I never liked the green pants - hated them ever since the Coslet days, I thought they looked dumb then and dumb with these present unis too.....
White blue and white purple(vikings) look ugly, but for some reason the white greens look so good.White cleats need to be brong back too.
I really like the Vikings road uniforms. I like the Jets in white jerseys. I don't have a pants preference there. As for the green jerseys, I only like them with white pants. The green jerseys with green pants get-up is not good.
Amazing that they'd spend all that effort on getting every guy their blue pants and only wear it a few games..
They lost that game to the Bills, 20-14. They beat the Jets in overtime the prior week. I think they wore blue pants in that game, but I'm not sure. They ditched them I guess because Colts fans did not like them. They were back in white pants down the stretch and in the playoffs that year. The Lions looked clownish when they wore blue pants with their white jerseys in Barry Sanders' final season (1998).
I have debated about this for years. I don't think it's a man rule quite yet. I think it's still okay to talk about football uniforms, but it is borderline. I have a great line from Paul Zimmerman regarding uniforms. Later tonight I'll post it.
first off I disagree, I think the white pants w/ both tops are better although i can live w/ the green pants for a week or 2 BUt we usually don't crack out the green pants until october, maybe it happens today(unless it's supposed to be really warm down there) but if they are planning on using them it should be w/in a few weeks.
Does he get blamed for everything? My God. It was the players who wanted the green pants. Most of the players prefer the green pants. My only problem w/ white on white is the striped socks, I like the solid green like they wear w/ the green jerseys.

Which he should do. Herm wanted to stand out, trying to change the Jets logo, unis, ect. I liked the green pants and white jersey look, but not the green/green look.
