biggest part is a tough division. 6 of our games come in the division and everyone in it had winning records. the next part is the divisons we face. we have the AFC north which has 4 good teams (steelers, ravens, browns, bengals) it's the 2nd best division in the AFC then the NFC we get the north which is the 2nd best division thansk to the packers and vikings (but easy games for the bears and lions) thats 14 games all based on rotation and only 2 on paper look winnable. it's brutal. the final 3 are based on record matching us against teams who finished the same we did in their division (last) 2 from the AFC and the new 1 from the NFC. for the AFC hats jax (easy game) and ravens. yes the ravens finished last despite being a really good team. in the NFC it's the seahawks. so we got the worst combination of last place teams really. on paper only 3 games are looking winnable
Well, how? Like I have already said, how can we finish any worse than bottom of our group. Tua or Herbert we are still finishing bottom this season.
Probably because the Phins are the only team in our division we have a reasonable chance of beating right now. We'd have basically 0 chance if they had Herbert.
Fuck. With that schedule I’ll be happy if we compete in games with those teams. I just don’t want to see blowouts or that will be the end to Saleh. If the Jets loose 10 Games by single digits but play well and compete, 1 loss by a double digit score and 1 ugly game (happens every year to all teams) that’s the worst they can do in order for Salah to have a chance to survive next season. That puts at 5-12 ugh .. that to me makes it even more essential this draft class shows promise and needs playing time for those vital reps.
