Rex got emotional http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/1526/rex-got-emotional Rex Ryan said he threw a tantrum Sunday night when it looked like the negotiations to get Darrelle Revis back were falling through. He started ripping into everyone. General manager Mike Tannenbaum told him he could storm out, just don't leave the building. "I only lost faith in everyone three or four times," Ryan said. He said he felt like he and Revis were two people who wanted to be together but their parents just wouldn't let them. It's the last time, Ryan said, that he gets so emotionally involved. Ryan said that Revis is back, FB Tony Richardson will return, and that DB Brian Jackson will be cut to make space for Revis on the roster. The team will have two weeks then to make another cut. Ryan said that Revis will definitely play against Baltimore. Ryan wouldn't take credit for the idea to meet with Revis and his family in Florida over the weekend, but he said he left the meeting feeling like everyone wanted Revis back on the field as soon as possible. It's possibly what led to the breakthrough in negotiations that allowed the deal to be formulated on Sunday night. For all the talk of how much Ryan and Tannenbaum likes CB Antonio Cromartie and rookie corner Kyle Wilson, Ryan said that Revis and his participation on the team is pivotal. "Everyone has a piece of that puzzle. Darrelle's just happens to be larger," Ryan said.
