Trade down with the #4 pick. Pick up an extra second rounder and get DeAngelo Williams in the process. Trade Abe to Denver for #29, and select Max-Jean Gilles, OG. With the two second rounders, get best OT available and LB Bobby Carpenter. In the third round, possibly Croyle and C Nick Mangold will be available. That would be a great draft IMO.

We can't go wrong at #4?

Have you forgotten the history of this franchise? We've gone wrong so many times it's not even funny.

Now I'm not saying we will go wrong, but you can't just dismiss our historically profound ability to fail.

But hey, maybe we won't "go wrong" but we might go "less right". But in the eyes of a lot of our fellow fans, that's the same thing. They'll still be angry because we didn't make the best move possible. Even if we all think it's the right move at the time, and even if we still make a good move, someone will still be angry because it wasn't the absolutely perfect choice.

I'm just going to wait for draft day, and hope they make the right decision regardless of what my opinions are. Because once they pick those players, they become Jets. And I'm going to root for them.

    Unless it's Marcus Vick.

Thanks for reading my 5,000th post. I hope I have as much fun writing the next 5,000.
