My wife and I are going over to my son and daughter-in-law's place to hook up with them and my daughter. He's got the big screen and we'll party hearty... making a mini-SB out of it. Everybody's bringing a dish. I just got back from shopping for all my chilli ingredients and gonna start sauteeing the onions and peppers and hamburger ASAP. Don't ask me for the recipe... there's just some things you can't give out, even to other Jets fans.
My wife and I will be wearing our Home #10 jerseys (our last name) and the BBQ will take a backseat to a new fryer. We're going to fry a turkey, make some corn on the cob, Irish baked potatoes, sausage, hot peppers and ice cold beer. If ya can't be at the game, there's nothing like watching it in the comfort of your home. TIVO rules.
I'm having a party at my house. We are going to start tonight and it will last all night until the game is over. I'm not going to be able to sleep so I may have fun while I can't sleep. I have 5 Pats fans coming over and 7 Jets fan. There will be big money won and lost tomorrow.
Just gonna watch it at my house. I never celebrate or get together win anyone on Wildcard matchups. Now Divisional round is a different story. edit - Relatives called, going to their house to watch the game.
Same thing I do every week down here in Miami. I go to a bar in Davie and watch the game with 100+ other Jet fans. It is a lot of fun.
I'm making a big pot of chili and home made bread. Then parked on the recliner in full uniform. Pom poms and all. Oh and lots of
I'm the same way! Having anyone around (or worse, trying to watch in a bar) is a major distraction and keeps me from REALLY watching & enjoying the game. As for me, I will definitely line up numerous snacks from the local Italian Specialty shop and then settle in in front of my glorious 19" decidedly LO-DEF TV and try not to have a coronary as the game plays out.
I'm watching the game at home. I'm going to switch it up. I'll watch a portion of the game in my room, so I can post on TGG during the game. And then I'll watch some of the game with my dad in the living room. He dozes off sometimes, so thats why I rather just watch it in my room. I don't expect him to sleep tomorrow. though. I have a bunch of snacks in my house, so I'll be set as far as food goes. I'm going to wear my *lucky* Jets Pajama Bottoms. Thank God the game is at 1 tomorrow. I'd hate waiting until 4:00.
