No matter the records, the players, the coaches, or the stadium, you can just about always count on a Fins / Jets game being entertaining! Can't wait! and by entertaining i mean nailbiting
Regular Season: 1. Dullphins. Want to show Sanchez is better than Henne when he throws a few picks early in the game and they never come from behind with our D in both games. 2. Shitriots. Tom Gaydy needs to taste the dirt, and we oblige. 3. Ravens. I don't hate the Ravens, but I wanna see how the two Ds line up together. Awesome matchup. 4. Vikes. Bert better not be in his period. Gotta fuck him up so hard, he retires right after the game, before the press conferences. 5. Bengals. We didn't back into the finals, and a three-peat would shut a few mouths. Playoffs: 1. Jets vs. Colts (wk 20) AFC Championship game. Want to prove a healthy secondary and RBs can beat em. Also, Manning is containable. We'll provide the blue print so Colts never win 10 games again with him. 2. Jets vs. Saints (Wk 21) Super Bowl. This time we are the ones returning a few back to the house, one coming in the closing seconds while Saints attempt to kick a long FG to take the lead. 3. Jets vs. Chargers/Titans/NE (Wk 19) AFC Divisonal game. We can beat Titans/Chargers and have. Would be awesome to beat NE for the third time this season. 4. Jets vs. Jets (wk 18) Bye week. Can't wait to see who's ass we are supposed to kick the following week.
The week 3 Fins / Jets matchup on Sunday night will be intriguing for sure. Realistically, I'd say we are 1-1 entering the game and you guys have 2 tough games against the Pats and the Ravens (although both are at home), so it is also realistic you guys are 1-1 entering the game. For two teams that seemed to have such high hopes from their great offseasons, starting out 1-2 would certainly put some pressure on the team that loses
Where have you been, sir? Did u miss the off season or what? I think our off season had EVERYTHING to do with the issue we faced against the Colts, and it wasn't the DL. We dumped Lito and Strickland, and replaced them with Cromartie and Wilson. These two should be able to stay in the game, rather than on a stationary bike on the sidelines. We didn't exactly dump Douglas yet, but even if we did, its not like this D revolved around him. Devito played much better than expected. We also picked up JT. I know he's old, but he can still play in third down situations. He is an immediate upgrade over Gholston, who will now try his luck at DE. Kerry Rhodes for Brodney Pool isn't bad either, considering how Rhodes regressed the last two seasons. Feely for Folk may turn out to be a great move, but we won't know until a few games into the season. We dumped TJ, a 32-year old RB. Picked up LT as a backup. LT will be fresh whenever he comes on to the field, unlike last year when he was taking a rather heavy load with his mileage. McKnight may also ignite the offense, but I won't be betting on it. We dumped Faneca to protect our franchise QB. If our QB goes down, nevermind worrying about the Colts. Faneca would have been a year older than last year. Ducasse would be just fine playing between the two pro bowl linemen. Did u miss the off-season, or are you always a darksider?
1. Dolphins-I fuckin hate this team I want nothing less than a sweep! 2. Patriots- read above 3. Vikings- Kicking Favre's ass would be great 4. Steelers-I fuckin hate this team when we have to play them, 3-15 all time, fuck that shit! 5. Ravens-Rex's old team and a strong one at that.
We didn't sweep the Fins or the Pats, we lost to the Ravens and we beat Pitt and Favre, so yeah, pretty pissed, mainly cause the Fins and Pats loss.
