Any one of you "our running game is in trouble" posters are concerned about the fact that the only other WR with a reception besides Cotch and Stuck is B. Smith with 2? Or the fact that B. Smith is our 3rd WR to begin with? That's what keeps me up at night, not the fact that we could not run the ball against the Titans.

I think the running game will develop as soon as defenses revere sanchez as a professional quaterback, right now they're pretty much stacking the box all the time , gotta take what they give you

That's funny, because the only thing that has enabled our team to put points on the scoreboard has been the passing game. If it wasn't for Sancho's clutch ability on third downs, half this forum would be full of 'Fire Rex Ryan', 'Sanchez is a bust' and 'Cut Thomas Jones' threads. It's amazing that the thing that keeps you up nights is what is actually working on offense, and you have no problems with what is not.

Ever heard of a TE named Keller? Our passing game is not an issue, so I'm puzzled as hell as to why that would keep you awake at night.

I know it's sometimes easier to settle disagreements when you put words in the person with opposing views' mouth but I have no issues with our passing attack. My issue is the fact that our 3rd wideout, a player that we may need down the line if we ever fall behind in a game and are forced to put the ball in the air and a player that is just a twisted anke away from starting, seems to have difficulty catching the ball and running routes. That I worry about but I don't worry about a proven running back and offensive line struggling a bit early in the season. Like I said I am open to the possibility that I'm an idiot.

Here's a stat, the Dolphins are 3rd in the league in rushing have the third rated rushing D in the league and are 0 and 3. In the NFL points come from the passing game. This team goes as far as Sanchez and the D takes them. Thomas Jones is just a guy who is going to get 200 carries this year if they don't like the way Greene blocks for Sanchez. It really doesn't matter if he runs off tackle for 1.6 or 2.4 YPC. He will get some big runs out of the spread and some big runs when the box is stacked and he squeezes through. He isn't moving the chains the passing game is.
