boy, the pipe dreams people come up with cracks me the ffff up. "cutler and edwards" for most of this years draft??? it would take more than that for just cutler alone, and he isn't going anywhere. denver isn't going to give up a franchise qb so some jet fan can have his WET DREAM!! i love reading this board this time of year. worth a ton of laughs... rex is the greatest(hasn't proved a thing) all these other nfl teams that are going to let us rape them for players and draft picks. it's insane around here this time of year.
On the flip side though.... Have you EVER watched a mangini presser and got so hyped up you wanted to find some one and punch them in the face? Rex Ryan talked a great game and it's true he hasn't won a game yet to be a "proven" coach. However, he said we would be a physical team and you can not deny that he has at least brought in the staff and the defensive players to do just that.
Why do people make threads like this? I mean come on, you give Jets fans a bad name man. This is just a stupid thread. If I were a fan of another team and I came in here and saw this I would laugh. Dont you think every team would like to have Cutler and Edwards?
People need to think outside the box from time to time. Nothing is impossible, it just might be improbable, but that isn't the same thing. If you read most of my posts you'll know that I don't give Jet fans a bad name, and if some other fan comes in here and thinks that then fck him, what do I care. All of these trades are possible IMO, it's just a matter of what we are willing to pay, that we are in full control of. What we can't control is if a team has better ammo than we do. Looks like the Lions are in a good position to go after Cutler since Denver would most definitely prefer their 1st rounder over ours. I still maintain that this type of scenario is still within the realm of reality. The only thing that makes it less probably to me is that other teams have better ammo than we do, but saying we don't have the means to get these two guys period is wrong IMO.
