favorite time for a Jet game? If I'm going it has to be 1. If it's TV I like 4. I hate 8 and 9 games, the media bs and official time outs suck.
sunday or monday night because then we get to watch them live on tv here in australia we only get fox sports 1pm and 4pm games here as well as the 2 night games
Us aussies with pay tv have a dilema. The Jets Xmas game should be live Tuesday here at lunch time. Do we watch the boxing day test or the Jets live for the only time in the regular season?
Either 1:00 or Monday Night. I hate waiting till four o'clock on sundays. Sunday night games are alright but there is nothing better than MNF... can't wait till christmas night!!
Here in Hawaii, the games right now are 8am 10:15am 3:30pm before you all change the clock the first game starts at 7 am. i like the sunday late game. I like the anticipation. When the Jets lose the early game, the rest of the day of football is not as fun.
I like the 1pm starts. When the Jets win, I get to enjoy the rest of the Sunday and the rest of the week. If they lose, I hate 1pm games.
I picked Sunday night, because I have the NFL package on the dish and this enables me to see all the games and still go to the game. For road games I prefer the late game or a night game. I'd rather have our game coming up then already over, especially when we lose, it ruins the other games.
give me a Home GAME at 4 PM.... and away games at 1 pm. i have a tendency to go out real late on saturday nights, and getting up at 9 am to start tailgating for 1 pm games is terrible... i like the 4 pm home game, so i can still go out late on saturday nights, get up at 11, and get to the stadium by 12 to tailgate before the game starts.... it also allows for watching the 1 pm games while tailgating.
I kinda changed my tune on this over the past few years. I used to prefer later Sunday games, but now that I'm getting older I can't stand being around a bunch of tanked up morons anymore. Games at 4:15 are getting pretty bad, and Sunday night games are a freaking horror show. I was at the Miami game this year and the guy next to me was puking in empty cups. I'm all for having a few drinks but it gets ridiculous during late games. I get to about 2 or 3 games a year and I'd prefer they be at 1:00 on Sunday or Monday night.
4:15 is great because we can get to the parking lot and tailgate 5 or six hours before the game without leaving at the butt crack of dawn. I've been bringing a TV with Rabbit Ears so on 4:15 days we watch the early game too. and then you can still make it home at a decent hour. Any home night game is a killer on me the next day......
For me here in Oz the 4.15pm is 8.15am on monday morning = perfect. I can follow it at work. The 1pm games mean a 5am start, too early so i usually miss the first hour.
Being that I attend the homegames, the monday/sunday night games have the best stadium atmosphere.. and I prefer that. Next in line would be 1PM. I hate 4PM games.. too much of the day is gone, yet it's not really a night game. If I'm home on the couch, 1PM all the way.
Going to a 8 PM game is awesome.... Last year i went to the Jets MNF game in ATL. I wish it was not a dome. It was 35 out and being drunk in the cold is awesome...
