for all we know, Luck could be a huge bust in the NFL. All this hype for this guy that might not even enter the draft next year is over the top.
If Miami finish with the first overall pick and then Luck decides to stay in college I will wet myself laughing, but the fact is that of all the places a young football star could end up living and playing, Miami is going to be one of the more appealing options. If you're Luck, you're going to take Miami this year ahead of risking ending up in Cincinnatti or St Louis next year.
I guess shotty got his ass chewed and it showed. He changed his preditible playcalling last night and I liked it. Good job shotty. The anouncers said it was Callahan calling the shots. Whatever it was I liked it. I think Callahan had more to do with it than shotty. If thats the case, promote Callahan to OC now.
umm what? Cincinnati is 4-2 behind Dalton who is having a much better year than Sanchez rite now as a rookie and St.Louis has one of the better young QBs in the league that they just drafted No.1 overall. u still drunk? Anyways, Although we got the win lets face it, we just beat a team with 0 wins and had to replace a horrible quarterback with an even more horrible quarterback. If Revis does not get that pic 6 and they score and go up 10-0 the way our offense played in the first half who knows if we even win.
CIN and STL have their QBs in Dalton and Bradford. And Stephen Ross is maybe the last owner anyone wants to play for right now. He's going to need to get a top HOF coach if Luck is going to consider coming out to go to that shit hole of a franchise. I can see him staying at Stanford again, because he loves it there.
The Bengals are 4-2 courtesy of their defence and a crazy soft schedule so far, St Louis are 0-5. I don't see Cincinnati being any good next year either unless they have a massive overhaul, and Sam Bradford's decent enough but can't do it on his own. I reckon both will be drafting pretty near the top in the summer of 2013.
Not so. Marshall attempted to run along the sidelines after the catch but had to step out because he was off balance.
You my friend hit the nail on the head, the Jets offense put up 14 points against a terrible team that has no pass rush. The Jets will not win more than 6 games this year with this offense, hopefully this will lead to the replacement of BS with Callahan.
mixed it up a little on offense When Schot got a little creative, things went better. Before that Greene runs on 1st or 2nd, Tomlinson comes in on 3rd. May be we can become unpredictible. The defense knows when Greene is going to get the ball. That is not good for him or anyone else.
What I liked about this game is that .............had it been anyone but the hapless, dysfunctional, Dolphins the Jets would be 2-4. The Jets look so bad,I don't think Steelers fans have to worry about them competing for a playoff spot.
I thought that this game proved sanchez can drive the team down the field if he has enough time, and thats what we wanted now if only plaxico stop dropping balls and the running game starts to work, then we have a good chance The running game doesnt even need to be that good, it just needs to pick up 7, 8 or 9 yards sometimes to make the passing game easier for sanchez
Back to the OP's question, I forgot to mention yesterday that I thought the Jets got better play out of their safeties, at least over the course of the whole game. Smith showed good coverage on a pass to an LB, and Leonhard made some good tackles. Meanwhile there were no completions I could think of due to coverage screwups involving the safeties. On the other hand Moore flat out missed two receivers who were wide open, and the safeties may have been responsible there. Lucky for the Jets Moore didn't see those guys. I know it was only against the fish, but I still felt that the safeties looked better.
