I was happy to see Chad leave. Yeah, his regular season wins down there was not great to see, but that was made up for by his floating ducks and putrid performance in the loss to the Ravens.

    It's all good.

Favre was injured. "shitting the bed" = Chad led team scoring only three points against Pitt.

Injuries only matter for QBs Big Blocker (aka Kellen Clemens) likes. Regardless of the reason, Favre shit the bed and Chad won the division, two facts which made it a bad move for the Jets when all was said and done.

Chad never talked shit about Miami's fans so it has to be JT.

Now were are going to be cheering for the same fuck that called us lower class citizens. I hated to see Chad go there, but at the same time I was not really worried because we all knew what he could do, or more accurately could not do.

By the way, here's a little something for the Dolphins and their fans, from an old childhood friend of mine:

I stated a simple fact--Miami won a division in our house because we gave them Chad. You've offered nothing except the usual crap.

Well... shouldnt that concern you that we were willing to go with question marks over signing JT?

And I'm pretty sure rookie Koa Misi is going to win the SOLB job...

JT won't be a starter, he'll be in on passing downs as an OLB and with his fist in the ground as a 4-3 DE so no it doesn't really concern me.

If we brought him in and cut Bryan Thomas then that would be a different story

Worst case scenario is Taylor doesn't work out and the Jets spent some money. Still not as bad as Chad Pennington trotting out of Giants Stadium in aqua and orange with the AFC East title at our expense. I don't see any way this can end up as bad as that did except for the fact that most of us hate Jason Taylor. I hated Favre too, managed to root for him for a season.

    No question at all IMO.

Jet fans were always mixed on Pennington.... Some of us believed that after the injuries, he was a QB that could only take you so far and against a top NFL defense he couldn't hack it.....

I had to laugh at all the Miami fans that Mocked Chad for all those years as being a panzy Qb and now they rooted for him... Many Fin fans had to swallow that one...

Chad going to Miami really didn't effect me much - Even beating the Jets at the end that season - That was pretty much expected for me based on how the Jets were playing at the time and not chad or Miami at all - The Jet defense was done and Favre was hurt, We weren't beating teams like Seattle... So, Losing Chad, losing to Miami didn't effect me at all that year.

Jason Taylor was one of the best Miami defensive players ever... EVERY Dolphin fan loved him, he never had mixed reviews in Miami like Chad had in NY - Taylor was the Dolphin fans Defenisve God..lol... But, A Guy The NY Jets OWNED for most of his career, a guy who was frustrated by NY and the fans...

I almost feel like Jason Taylor comes crawling to his DADDY and has to take it..

THE OWNAGE OF JASON TAYLOR BY NEW YORK IS COMPLETE!!!!!

Come bow down to your Daddy.

That's the last thing we want to do right now. The only thing keeping that damn BP oil from rushing up the coast is FL. FL does have a purpose!

Easily Taylor to the Jets. Chad's time on NY was done and even after he signed with the Dolphins I never had any ill will towards him because he is a class act. It also didn't hurt to see the Fins trolls here telling us how just because choked in the playoffs for us didn't mean he was going to again. Seeing all of that play out almost made it worth seeing the Fins win the division... almost.

In some ways they are the same ... each guy got shunned by a team in which he was once seen as a hero.

As a fin fan, I'd say that JT going to you guys was much worse because of all they garbage he talked.

Chad never made any public remarks about fans or the opposing team, but saw an opportunity to play for a familiar staff in the Dolphins.

To most Dolphin fans, JT essentially "sold his soul" to play for a ring.

I think there's a lot more Miami fans that thought JT was a "hero"....

IMO, Chad was The Little Engine That Could (sometimes)...

Not even sure how this is a debate.... One guy is going to the HOF right?

Since Taylor was known for hating the Jets, and now he's on the Jets... Guess i would go with Taylor.

JT was definitely worse, but both players were the faces of our franchises for a number of years.
