Well, I'm pretty sure all of those players (or almost all) have the green authentics available. And the Jets don't play a lot of home games in the whites.
Jesus lol then wear your orange shirt. No one is forcing you to wear anything. They are simply asking all fans to dress in white to match the players and are giving out white towels to everyone. If you want to wear orange, then wear orange. I went to countless playoff games in Miami to watch the Heat and they did white out all the time. It was awesome. Hate the Miami Heat but it really was cool. The entire stadium was white and it brings a sense of unity to everyone there. I'm pretty sure people paid a fortune to watch those games also.
it absolutely has gotten worse. its really simple to figure out why, as well. there is no waiting list for season tickets. in fact, most games arent actually sold out (they are to avoid blackouts on tv, but thats just bc the organization gives away/buys up remaining seats). also, factor in things like stubhub and the ticket exchange, where you have no clue who is buying that extra ticket. simply put, its just way easier to get tickets as an away fan in the new stadium (as well as many new stadiums) in this day and age
They do have plenty available in green. It just seems odd that they're promoting the "white-out" but they don't have any product to sell. Its like having a product launch but nothing to ship. I've ordered more NBA and NFL jerseys for my kids then I care to remember. The name players always have both home and road jerseys available. The Jets marketing team failed miserably. Go to the Cowboys site.. they have plenty of product in both white and navy. The Jets don't have to be the monster marketing machine that Jerry Jones created but they should have some clue about marketing.
I checked all the sports stores, they don't even carry a white Jets t-shirt . Maybe our dumb marketing team should think about things before doing them. I am wearing black, F them and also the drummers, shooting things into the stands. JET UP, electing a fireman ed every week and the very loud music in the upper deck that gives me a headache. Lets trade the marketing team for a 6 piece band with horns and silence like the old days.
There seems to be at least 10 different white Jets shirts to choose from at just the nfl shop, so I don't get where folks are saying there aren't any. For the braindead they even have this gem:

I'd be happy to participate in this, if I didn't hear about this the night before the game. From a business standpoint,the Jets are the biggest hot mess. Shouldn't once you buy tickets, you're put on an e-mail notification list?
I'll be wearing green simply because I don't own any other Jet gear and wasn't looking to buy white apparel just for the occasion.

It's supposed to be a fun and easy way to make the stadium look cool. /rant Any one remember when the bills did this for one of their home games and we mocked them by wearing all green and thoroughly kicking their asses.
Exactly. Some of these people are acting like they will get turned away at the gates if they aren't wearing an official nfl licensed product. The team is clearly telling us that wearing white what you should do if you wanna show support for your team. Nobody is going judge you for not wearing something with a logo on it
