DGB is the ultimate boom or bust pick.

I don't understand why he snubbed the cowboys... That will add to his shitty rep...

I could see him fall till the mid 2nd round but I can also see a contender taking a shot and gamble on him.

Maybe he doesn't want the Cowboys to assign him a babysitter like they do with every player that has a troubled past

I do think that Gurley goes in the first, but I can see Peters falling to the early second (and he'd be a steal for whomever gets him).

it would be a terrible pick on so many levels

    -enormous reach
-one of the least valued postions
    -you can get HBs anywhere
-least need on the entire roster
-wouldnt be anywhere near the BPA

it would be worse then when we took nugent that early.

    This is a ridiculous post.

If you dont think its worth taking a RB that high because you can get one later, that is one thing. But half of these are either false statements or extremely misinformed.

    - It wouldnt be a reach. At least according to any reports out there.

    - It is one of the least valued positions, doesnt mean it isnt important. With shitty QB play, a RB could be a QB's best friend.

    - It isnt the least need on the entire roster. Ridley and Powell are complimentary players, and Ivory is always an injury risk.

    - Gurley would absolutely be BPA in the second, again, according to any reports out there.

    - And it wouldnt be worse than picking Nugent in the second.

If the Jets could walk away with any combination of Cooper/White and Gurley/Gordon I think you need to call that a very successful draft.

Taking a blue chip RB graded for the first round in the second round would be worse than drafting a kicker that could be had in the 7th round in the 2nd? I'd say you are smoking too much weed but it sounds like it's heroin

He snubbed the Cowboys? How? Did he tell them he didn't want to go and meet with them or did he just not show up or something?

I was watching NFL network yesterday and one of the talking heads had the Jets picking him in the 2nd round.
The kids got skills, I don't think I'd be opposed to taking a shot with him.

it is a reach. taking any HB before round 3 is a reach. period. the position is the least valued in the league outside of special teams

it isnt important. a qbs best friend is his oline, not some dime a dozen running back

it is the least need. and it can be filled with training camp cuts or undrafted players

gurely isnt the bpa. he is a running back

ok, maybe not worse the nugent, but same ilk

    Agree to disagree.

I think almost all of this is incorrect.

I think TJ Clemmings could fall to the 2nd round. He has enormous upside, but he is a project.

If Gregory falls past 25 we should move up and grab him.
