Who has a better 2012 season: Wilkerson or Coples?

    He was referring to when Wilkerson was asked about Coples as a teammate and player and he responded that he would love him as a teammate and that he is a better player...

    Right now, Wilkerson is more refined and is the better player, but Coples is the player who had top 5 ability coming into the draft (motor questions aside). If Rex can coach up Coples and allow him reach his potential, he could be the better player (putting up better impact numbers), but Wilk will probably be the more consistent player.

    Also Karl Dunbar should really help in mentoring them two; he had a top 5 DL while he was in Minnesota.

    Im excited to see these two in action.

    It's tough to say, Wilkerson will have the LT to deal with a lot, but if Coples plays well enough he's liable to receive the double teams that Wilkerson was getting last year, resulting in Wilkerson having the statistically better season.

    I think Coples will be the better player of the two this season though.
