With Folk ever since his early struggles here I still hold my breath every time he lines up to kick, even though it's probably not necessary because he's been kicking well lately (knock on wood). I still always hold me breath and assume he will miss every single kick to not jinx him and then have a sigh of relief when he buries it. I call it the "John Hall Treatment".. and just like with him it works like a charm.
Coples. He just has that "swag" to him and I hate using that word. I feel like he is going to wreak havoc this year.
Kerley is everybodies favorite. Says alot about our WR group as of late. I like him too though only because it appears we NEEDED him on the field to even be an almost average offense last year
Kerley just does what he has to do and doesn't complain.. I really hope he gets paid by us because he deserves it. Very underrated.. If he had a QB that could get him the ball consistently (hopefully we finally have that in Geno), this guy would be a top 5 slot receiver.. Couldn't think of any one else in the AFC East that I would want to throw the ball to on 3rd down. He is money.
Rob Gronkowski Danny Amendola Julian Edelman Mike Wallace Brian Hartline Sammy Watkins CJ Spiller Eric Decker That's my list of guys in the AFC East that I'd rather have to throw the ball to on 3rd down than Jeremy Kerley
Haha yea I didn't put much thought into it when I said it, but regardless he is a damn good receiver who can catch with the best of them.
Besides Revis we havent had any real fan favorites here in a while. My favorite player in the league was never a jets player.
On the offensive side of the ball it is Kerley, he plays with heart and you will often see him make the extra effort on plays, David Nelson is a very close second for the heart he plays with (See the crazy catch he had jumping over a guy against NE). On D it Sheldon Richardson. The man plays with a non stop motor that is very rare and also has fun with it. Not many players are good at having personality yet not comming off as a dumbass or cocky while doing so.
Rex Ryan is my favorite Jet bar none. He always talks a big game and doesn't back down from a challenge. Ryan embodies the attitude, spirit and bravado of New York. My favorite player on the Jets is probably David 'The Hitman' Harris. I bought his jersey over 5 years ago and its still paying dividends.
They should make him shave it off and turn it into a face wig that every Jets center has to wear until the end of time.
LETS GO RANGER'S!! And on topic ... Ivory/Powell on offense (maybe some Chad Young if things pan out) ... and on D how can you not love Mo
