Why did ticket prices increase?

    Woody makes his TV money no matter who is or isn't in the stands. The league collects the TV money from all the networks, then equally divides it amongst the 32 teams. This is how a franchise like Green Bay and Jacksonville can survive financially with the big city teams.

    PSL's have become a way of life in most NFL cities that have built new stadiums. Corporate fans or real fans, it doesn't make a difference. The seats are getting sold. The NFL has set attendance records for the past couple of seasons. Empty seats have not been an issue.

    I'm with the season ticket holders in that I couldn't afford to go if they add a PSL. But this is a league issue, not really a Jets thing. The all powerful league knows that even if you give up your seats, someone will buy them. And they know that instead of being at the stadium, you will be at home with your eyeballs glued to the TV watching the NFL. And that's their bread and butter.
