Why would we want Vince Young even if he was available?

Sorry, but VY is not the future for the jets. All you have to do is listen to Mangini ... we want smart, tough players on this team... what does that tell you? It tells me that VY doesn't fit the mold... besides how many starting caliber qb's do you need on one team?

i think he'll be solid with some definite rough spots, i dont think his wonderlic score means anything, Marino scored a 16.

I know being a smart an affluent person is a plus in a player but the questions on that test are arbitrary to football, it wont determine how he'll react to a pass rush or when he'll try to force a throw.

each of the 3 qb's has a question mark with Leinart looking to be the safest option although i dont like him either.

lol i just think the Young VS Leinart babbling needs to end. cuz i dont think we'll see either one in green and white

No Thankyou. Not a fan of the scrambling QB, we need a dominant, old fashioned pocket passer, I hate to make the analogy because he was our enemy for so many years, but someone like Marino.

Not me. Young is a fabulous talent that oozes leadership and coolness under pressure. Oh, and by the way, he's a pretty damn good QB as well. Sure, he needs some polish. Most rookie QBs need a couple years, with a few notable exceptions.
