I don't think the idea was that we just beat the 2 best qbs and be happy with that,i think it was that if we beat the 2 best qbs our chances of winning it all increase dramatically. i don't think anyone is wrong with their opinion on this. If there is an easier road or a shortcut through the playoffs,nothing wrong with wanting to go that way. Also nothing wrong with wanting to get to the SB by dominating. Not sure why this is an argument in the 1st place.
Agreed. I don't care who we play, I would have liked to play KC because it's an interesting match up.
You take the path that is in front of you. All of the playoff teams are good and each path would be tough.
Call me crazy but I am way more excited to play the colts than the chiefs. I know its a tougher game and I think thats what makes me more nervous therefore its more fun.
I don't mind going against the Colts. If the Jets Win the SB, it will be undisputable that they went through the toughest Road to the Superbowl ever, and came out on Top. I'm cool with that. As others have said, we Owe Manning a trip home now.
If you read my post you will realize I said it would be "easier" not an automatic win. Why are you assuming we would lose to the Pats if we don't have a chance to "prove ourselves" against the Colts?
