sadly its been our problem for decades - you would have thought that they could get it right just once during all that time - hopefully they will invest at least a pick in a QB this year - sooner or later it HAS to be our turn to get lucky right? right?
This is your End of Season Review thread bump: Reading all the whining going on around here this week, I thought it reasonable to revisit some of our pre-season predictions for this year. The Jets went 10-6, winning some games they shouldn't have, and losing some games they shouldn't have to miss the playoffs due to tie-breakers. The offense clearly out performed expectations, the defense was a slight letdown, but was still at top-10 unit. Quite predictably, even though the posts in this thread tend toward an optimistic 6-10 or 7-9 schedule, three quarters of TGG posters want us to fire our coach because we didn't go 11-5 and lose in the first round of the playoffs. This, despite everyone being pretty well satisfied during our five-game winning streak that the Bills ended in week 17.
