I think Clemens is taller than Favre.. and they should've adapted by now. I think it has more to do with the quick release and ball speed than anything else. Whatever the case, the WRs should be catching those passes, that's their job.

    Gotta agree with this one.

What it actually means for Clemens...I'm not sure. He's definitely got the potential, but being the young QB that got trashed the season before isn't easy to get over. It's a real confidence killer. I can't say I've seen enough to say I don't like Clemens' body language, but I will say that he seemed 1201830883420348248024 times more confident last year.

I agree his confidence seemed much higher last year. I think i understand why. Imagine your a factory worker. You work at a place that has both a night and day shift. The ownership group only want there to be one shift and ask you both to compete for the single job. Then they go and get someone else.

I would be a little put off as well.

Yea...put that on top of the mental and physical beating he's taken with this team and his confidence can't be that high.

I hope he snaps out of it. IMO he's the most naturally talented QB on the team not named Favre...it'd suck to see him fail. He's shown alot of balls so far though and he's always given that feeling that he's a fighter/tough mofo so....only time'll tell right?

I have never heard of the concept of an "uncatchable ball" applied to a pass that makes its way into the receiver's hands. Yeah, a hard pass might be difficult for your average person to hold onto, but pros are supposed to catch what gets to them.

Frankly I think the answer to the dropped passes will ultimately only be resolved with upgrading the receiver corps here. The reality is there is not much bench quality.

I know this has become an announcer's cliche, but if you can get a hand on it, you can catch it.

i heard that ratliff offered the receivers $100 for each clemens pass they drop. clemens found out about this and offered the receivers $150 to drop ratliff passes, but only raymond took him up on it.

Hey, don't make excuses for dropping passes-ever. This isn't high school, these guys are highly paid receivers who hold themselves out to be capable of catching the ball.

If you got a punter who can kick it high and far and beyond the coverage--fire the coverage and get someone who can cover. Same thing here, hire those who can catch the ball.

It's only something to worry about if they start dropping Favre's passes. Who cares what they do with Clemens, he will never play anyway unless Favre goes down.

Nice. I heard Favre was offering $1000 a dropped ball 3 weeks ago.
