There is absolutely no room on the roster for either Britton or Chamberlain so that won't happen. There is also no room for Wigginton or anybody else either. There isn't even room for the three people we know are coming back. Karstens, Hughes and Giambi. You'll see both of them on September 1st though.

Sadly, I'd rather drop Doug. I like him, but he's only a 1B. We have so many guys who can play first at this point, it's ridiculous. We need guys like Cairo (or Wiggington, like Cappy has been pointing out.)

I just wish the Yankees would learn from the past and stop trying to fix what isn't broke. If Giambi and Mienky come back, at the expense of Duncan and Phillips, it's just a repeat of last year with Matsui and Sheff.

We're scoring runs now, and that's primarily because we have guys like Andy in the lineup, who are getting timely hits. Just last week he was a party to 3 different game winning runs. Plus his D trumps Giambi's any day of the week.

But the Yankees will never learn.

Giambi wasn't playing first even before he got hurt. Phelps and Menky were so like I said before Phillips won't be effected by Giambi coming back. Only the DH spot will.

How do you figure? Britton or Chamberlain would replace Proctor. Wigginton would be the extra position player they have been talking about adding at the expense of a pitcher. That pitcher would (hopefully) be Farnsworth, who will (hopefully) be traded for a bag of balls and perhaps a ham sandwich. Perhaps Cashman can even get a baseball player in return, in which case, I'll be extremely happy.

Or Myers could be the "extra" pitcher that goes. He's pretty much a waste of a roster spot at this point, being a lefty specialist who seemingly can't get lefties out anymore.

Hughes will be replacing Igawa. Karstens will most likely replace Henn in the long man role (although I'm not really sure Karstens is better than Henn). Giambi will replace Duncan. The kid's only had three games. I'm not ready to hand him Giambi's spot in the lineup just yet.

So that's room for everyone (that matters), and the Yanks would have a better bullpen, and a better, more versatile bench. Please don't tell me you're that attached to Duncan, Myers, Farnsworth, or Henn.
