Do you really feel better acting like a 2 year old? Is it how you were brought up or just a factor of where you live?

No, Don. It doesn't make me feel better. In fact, I'd be thrilled if you never again posted something that compelled me to make a post that you feel is at the maturity level of a two year old. Let's give it a shot together, shall we?

Holy shit, I just witnessed the beginning of a fable/myth on Baseball Tonight during a spot about Joba.

Okay, so you look at the Gameday data, and Joba tops out at 94.5mph. The in-game report from Sam Borden said he hit 95mph on the gun. Hey, not bad. That's been 2009 Joba, when he's doing well. It's enough to miss bats. It's not pre-injury Joba though. It's not 97-99mph. But whatever. Not complaining.

So Mark Feinsand is on BT and tells them about Joba hitting 95-96. Okay, not quite, but not that far off. He hit 95 on the gun, after all. Fifteen seconds later, someone else says something about Joba throwing 96-97. Okay, he never hit 96 or 97, but that's just a slight exaggeration. And then, not even ten seconds later, Eduardo Perez talks about the old Joba throwing 97-98 again! Um, what?

ETA: Actually, the YES gun showed Joba's first pitch at 96mph. But that's it, and I don't trust the YES gun for shit, anyhow.

Congrats to ARod for the RBI in an inning feat and for another 30/100 season! Helluva way to come back after all the madness of this year.
