this is a big start for alay....he's had great moments and terrible moments.... the main thing im looking for from alay is to settle down early and keep his pitch count down....after tonight ill be able to formulate a better judgement of him based on his starts to date....
That was pretty cool.... thanks FTC! I'm still pretty ticked off though... McGwire, Sosa, Bonds.... really ruined the historical signifigance of the game. They gave Maris an *, but these wank-wads who don't deserve to grovel in Mays, Mantle's or Aaron's poopy get off scot free.... it still really gets me bent. I don't giva chit what Bonds does. Ruth won 100 games as a pitcher before he became an every day player. That's 5 years. He out-homered EVERY team in baseball when he hit 61! He is still the greatest HR hitter of all time, period. These guys don't even come close. Bonds, even if I forget the roiding, isn't in the top ten of all time in fact he isn't top 20, again, not even close. Walk through Cooperstown. Read the numbers on the plaques of guys you never heard of. It's amazing. Time makes us forget so many great players.....
I'm not a Bonds fan at all, but even before the steroids, he was definitely on pace to be top 20 (unless of course you include pitchers, even though it's usually done separate.)
Congratulations. You're the dumbest poster to make a comment on this thread. Edit: Or, at least, that was the dumbest comment.
Yes, I do. And Yankees will get a few runs here. I hate Soler he contuines to put us behind the 8-ball and I'm sick of it.
