He is the biggest Phillies homer on the planet. He played for them during his career and picked them to win in the beginning of the season and always defends their every move

Francesca ripped apart a caller, Tom, about 20 minutes ago.

The caller was convinced, doesn't know how its happening, but is convinced the Phillies batters are somehow getting signals as to what pitches the Yankees are throwing via whenever Fox shows the catchers signals in that little picture frame.

Francesca went on to say "That might be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. DUMBEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD."

Same as last week. As you probably saw, I was talking about him arguing with callers about when Rivera would come in.

I should've listened today. I used to listen to WFAN regularly, but in recent years, I rarely listen to talkshows anymore.

    Back 2 Baseball.....

    Here's what bothers me....
I didn't like AJ on short & Pettite on short.

The biggest fear is that Pettite's shoulder stiffens up or he just shots the bed and we have to goto the pen early which would hurt for game 7.

The fact that Gaudin was just sitting there doing absolutely nothing means that he's just insurance.

To use 3 pitchers on short rest is IMO kinda pushin it. CC may be the only one who could pull it off only cause of his M.O. but to ask ANdy (age & Shoulder) and AJ (inconsistent) to do it is really REALLY asking for trouble.

Girardi may escape if Pettitte is lights out 2night or if the bats are hot.....

That said, I really think this is dangerous.

I still don't understand why Gaudin couldn't start Game 5. If you lose that game, so what. You have Burnett on full rest. He is known not to pitch well on short rest, or on the road for that matter.

It still doesn't make sense. Girardi better hope Andy bails him out tonight.

    That's exactly how I feel.

and actually I think AJ was 4-0 on 3 days rest in the past but A Full AJ @ the Stadium was way more worth the risk than a 3 day @ Philly.
Everyone's argument there was Gaudin's extended rest...

    AYFKM?
So a rested pitcher is a bad thing now???
    What kinda BS is that?

It would be nice if this lineup of hitters would earn their checks and score some fukin runs tonight so the pitching becomes a non issue.

The only defense with Gaudin is, and I mean the only defense (if it is a defense at all), is that he hadn't pitched since the ALCS. Then again, not even a long time.

I'm not sure if you saw my post from yesterday, but check this out:

    soooooo true amigo!

Cano has been atrocious, TEX is dissapointing right now and Posada & the rest seem unreliable....

We need everyone after the 4 spot to wake up!

Truth is I'd rather have Swishs bat only because he works the count and actually drew walks and gotten hits the last couple of games

Wow, unless that logic is totally out of context it makes absolutely no sense @ all!

It has to be out of context ......right?
