    I'm not sure there's a rule. Oftentimes teams will give a player a ring even if they were hurt during the year. I'm pretty sure it's up to the team.

    I wouldn't give him one.

    In cases like Wang (and with guys who were with the team at some point during the season), it is up to the team and they usually do give rings so as not to appear tight-fisted or whatever.

    Wang doesn't deserve a wang ring.
