Coke is ready to face Mauer, if needed. Would Hughes only face one batter? Stay tuned...

    Cabrera fights another off.

    still 2-2

Sabathia in line for the win, of course.

Neither runner scores, so he goes 6.2 IP and only allows 2 ER

    game over, most likely.

Great effort by Cabrera, but Hughes is dominant.

    10 pitch at bat

    here's Jeter

    Liriano still in the game

    2-1 count

    Jeter walks

Damon ground ball goes off of Cuddyer's glove.

    1st and second, no outs

Not trashing you, just wondering why your doing it. maybe a recap after every inning is sufficient enough?

    That was an E3

    3-1 on Teixeira

    fouled off his front toe.

    Full count.

He hits a long way, but well foul. Way out in front.

hard grounder to third, results in a 5-4-3 DP

Jeter on third now for A-Rod

If he were clutch like the Captain, he would have hit a home run. And he would have done it when the Yanks were losing.

Posada got a pitch to hit, but hit it hard to second on the ground

    out at first

    7-2 going to the 8th

Hughes stays in because Mauer doesn't matter now
