In the spirit of overreaction to small sample sizes, I declare the 2009 A-Rod "clutch".

the game is decided already, so play by play is unnecessary

besides, I don't think GQS is reading anymore.

Coke comes in for one pitch and gets a hard liner by Kubel

great base-running by Mauer to not get doubled off

Joba comes in to face Young

I was reading. I had to conserve power on the iPhone bc I couldn't charge it so I logged in and out.

Then I figured out iheartradio radio app got part of the broadcast from a Minneapolis sports station. I had to endure John miller tho. But I gave up on that was burning too much battery

    - C.C. was solid.
    - Jeter is truly Captain Clutch/Mr. October
    - A-Rod coming through, just needs to keep it going. No need for a HR every at-bat. Just move the runners up, and if it happens to be an RBI, then you're ahead of the game.
    - Swisher and the rest of the offense getting involved
    - Hughes, Coke, Joba and Mo' holding it down.

Awesome game from the yankee bats...Everyones eye was on Arod and he finally came through. This should be a huge confidence booster. To top it off that fine girl kate hudson was cheering him on.

    lets go yankees!

They asked A-Rod after the game about how Girardi said this postseason would be different for him, etc.

His answer said exactly nothing. Something about taking it one day at a time and enjoying yourself. The master of say nothing meaningful to the media.

FTR: I said ARod was going to break through this year. It should have happened his first at-bat, but the wind hung it up. You could see in his face when he finally drove in his first that he was relieved, and DAMN Kate Hudson is HOT.

Did everyone see the Twins bench late in the game? Completely deflated.

    Keep it up Yanks!

Just for reference, someone specifically asked him to do it early in the thread. I know this has already been addressed, but I felt it needed to be pointed out again.

Fucking kill yourself you piece of shit. Who the fuck are you anyway? I post every day, win or lose, unless I'm just not around. I've NEVER disappeared on this board because of the outcome of a game in the 5 years I've been here.

Never agreed with you. But in your defense I agree with the above.

It was me and what Yisman did was important for me b/c I lost power for 2 hours and was following on my iPhone. So if anyone was complaining they can talk to me.
