Jets Make Top 10 in Power Rankings

For the second week in a row the New York Jets made a big step up in power rankings on all major sports websites. ESPN has the Gang Green up to #8 from #16 a week ago. FOX Sports has them up to #5 from #14 last week. CBS Sports has the Jets 10 spots up, from #16 to #6.

Here's what the top 3 websites had to say about the Jets:

ESPN: Rex Ryan has blitzed his way into first place in the AFC East. Division, beware.

FOX Sports: NO WORRIES: Where to start? Mark Sanchez, who was terrific in taking over the Pats game in the second half. Plus, Rex Ryan's defensive mojo is working wonders. TIME TO WORRY: Believe it or not, there will be weeks very soon where Sanchez plays like a rookie.

CBS Sports: Defense, defense and more defense. Watch out when Mark Sanchez gets even better. This team is better than I expected.
