The New York Jets waived the following four players: PK Danny Kight, DB Will Hunter, DB Kevin Knight, and DB Deshaun Hill. The Jets also signed WR Cedric James who spent the 2002 season with the Minnesota Vikings. James, 6'1", 197 lbs, played in 5 games where he caught one pass for 29 yards.
The Gang Green also officially placed OG Tom Nutten on the reserve-retired list.
