The New York Jets have announced the retirement of OG David Szott and the release of CB Aaron Beasley. The club also signed QB Ricky Ray.

In 2 seasons with the Jets Beasley, 30, started in 31 games, intercepted 5 passes, and recorded 125 tackles (105 solo).

David Szott was signed in 2002 as a free agent but played only in 4 games that year. Last season Szott played in 15 games.
