Jets acquire CB from Dallas

Admin - July 14, 2005

Earlier today the New York Jets acquired CB Pete Hunter from the Dallas Cowboys for an unconditional draft pick.
Hunter played in only three games last season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. In three seasons, Hunter has played in 30 games with three interceptions, nine passes defended and two fumbles recovered. He is an Atlantic City, N.J., native who likes the idea of playing closer to home. The Jets also need depth at cornerback.
