The New York Jets finally made the move that's been rumored for weeks. They acquired QB Patrick Ramsey from the Washington Redskins for a 6th round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.
Ramsey, a 4-year veteran, has played in 34 NFL games, completing 55.7% of his passes, 34 TD, 29 INT. He has a 10-14 record as a starter.
The Jets inherit Ramsey's existing contract, which has just one season remaining, at a base salary of $1.68M for 2006.
