The New York Jets signed OT Wade Smith, a 4-year veteran who used to play for the Miami Dolphins. Wade, 6'4", 318 lbs, started in all 16 games for the Dolphins in 2003. He's expected to be in uniform this Sunday against the Patriots.
C Trey Teague, who was projected to start at center, returned to practice on a limited basis yesterday.
