TheGangGreen.com has obtained more information on the contracts recently signed by DE Kenyon Coleman and DE Bobby Hamilton.
As it was expected, Hamilton signed a one-year deal for a league minimum $820,000, but only $435,000 will count against the salary cap.
Coleman signed a 5-year deal with the following base salaries: $1,000,000 (2007), $4,000,000 (2008), $3,000,000 (2009), $3,000,000 (2010), $2,500,000 (2011). As we found out before, the total worth of Coleman's contract was close to $20M, which included $6M in guaranteed money $4.5M signing bonus). Based on that information, we may conclude that Coleman will count approximately $1.9M against the salary cap in 2007, $4.9M in 2008, $3.9M in 2009, $3.9M in 2010 and $3.4M in 2011.
