Jets trade Kendall to Skins

Admin - August 23, 2007

The New York Jets finally unloaded disgruntled OG Pete Kendall, as they traded him to the Washington Redskins for a conditional 5th round pick in 2008 or a 4th rounder in 2009.

Kendall, 34, wasn't happy with his $1.7M salary and demanded a raise to $2.7M. The Jets, however, weren't going to accommodate his demands, making Kendall's departure just a matter of time. Pete Kendall joined the Gang Green in 2004 as a free agent after spending previous 8 seasons with Arizona and Seattle. He started in all 45 games that he played for the Jets.
