The New York Jets have signed CB Dwight Lowery, their 4th round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Lowery, 6'0", 201lbs, started in 12 games as a senior, intercepting 4 passes. He had a better year as a junior when he picked off 9 passes and recovered 3 fumbles.
Lowery became the third Jets' draft pick this year to have signed a contract. The Gang Green had also signed WR Marcus Henry and OT Nate Garner. Training camp opens on July 23rd and the Jets still have three draft picks to sign, including the first rounder DE/LB Vernon Gholston.
