Jets injury update

Admin - October 8, 2009

With 4 days left until the Monday Night game against the Miami Dolphins, the New York Jets have 8 players on their injured report. Both OT Damien Woody (foot) and CB Donald Strickland (ankle) did not participate in today's practice, which usually means that their game day status will be either "out" or "doubtful." Strickland will most likely miss the MNF game, while Woody is expected to play. WR Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring), S Kerry Rhodes (knee) and CB Lito Sheppard (quadriceps) all saw limited action this morning - usually means "questionable" status on game day. LB Larry Izzo (hamstring), S Jim Leonhard (knee) and LB Bryan Thomas (wrist) fully participated in the practice session and will most likely be listed as "probable."

So, it looks like after missing two games Lito Sheppard will start against the Dolphins. CB Dwight Lowery, who started in Sheppard's absence, will move to the nickel slot.
