Injuries

Cotchery might miss Sunday game

Admin - October 14, 2009

WR Jerricho Cotchery sat out this morning's practice session with a hamstring injury. He was listed as "questionable" for the game against Miami but did play and caught one pass for 4 yards. This time, however, it looks more like Cotchery will not suit up against the Bills.

WR Brad Smith, who started in place of Cotchery against the Dolphins, also did not practice due to a foot injury. So, at this point it looks like WR Braylon Edwards will start along with WR David Clowney who had a career game against Miami catching 4 passes for 72 yards.

OT Damien Woody did not practice due to an ankle injury, while DE Shaun Ellis sat out the session as well with a bruised knee. Both of them should be ready to play on Sunday.

CB Donald Strickland was back in practice for the first time in 3 weeks. CB Lito Sheppard, who was listed as "doubtful" against Miami and did not play, practiced with the first team this morning and is expected to start on Sunday.
