Sanchez misses another practice

Admin - December 9, 2009

Rookie QB Mark Sanchez spent today's practice session on a stationary bike, trying to rehab his injured knee. He suffered a slight tear in his posterior cruciate ligament last Thursday night against the Bills and has been rehabbing about 18 hours per day, according to head coach Rex Ryan. Another missed day of practice makes it quite doubtful that Sanchez will be able to suit up on Sunday. If Sanchez does play, he'll have a brace on both knees. He has been wearing a brace on his left knee since college.

We'll know more on Sanchez' status when coach Rex Ryan meets with the media later today.

Meanwhile, QB Kellen Clemens has been taking reps with the first team. Clemens replaced Sanchez in the 3rd quarter against the Buffalo Bills and completed 1 of his 2 passes. He was also sacked 3 times.
