Jets lead 14-7 at halftime against Bengals

The New York Jets scored two touchdowns in the second quarter and have a 14-7 lead at halftime of their playoff contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Gang Green started the game rather shaky, allowing a long kickoff return deep in their territory. Cincinnati's two turnovers and two big plays from the Jets' offense turned the game around, as the Gang Green managed to overcome their early struggles.

RB Shonn Greene and TE Dustin Keller scored on long plays. QB Mark Sanchez played a mistake free first half - 7 of 10 for 94 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT.

The defense gave up several first down runs early in the game, but settled down, keeping the Bengals' offense deep in their own territory. CB Darrelle Revis continued his domination over Cincinnati's receivers and had an interception on a pass thrown to Chad Ochocinco.

The only problem is lack of pass rush. Palmer does seem to have plenty of time to throw the football and only his poor accuracy stalled Cincinnati's offense on a few drives.
