Revis’ agents deny $20M per year contract demands

According to the New York Post, CB Darrelle Revis' agents, Neil Schwartz and Jonathan Feinsod, denied the recent report that claimed their client's new contract demands to be around $20M/year. The original story written by Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post created quite a stir among Jets fans. "We have never spoken to Mike Lombardi -- ever, not even when he worked for the Raiders," Feinsod told The New York Post. "Where he's getting his information I don't know, but it's not coming from our side."

Revis, scheduled to make $1 million this season, the 4th year of his original 6-year contract, is seeking a new deal and he is on record as saying that Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum promised him a new one before the 2010 season begins.

Last week Revis hinted that if the Jets are not backing up their promise to sign him to a contract extension before the season, he might hold out of training camp, which begins on August 1st.
