Jets Regular Season

Mangold goes to Pro Bowl

C Nick Mangold became the only Jet selected to the Pro Bowl this season. It's his 6th Pro Bowl selection in the last seven seasons. Mangold is now tied with C Kevin Mawae, who started in six consecutive Pro Bowls as a Jet. OT Winston Hill was selected eight times from 1964-73.

According to ProFootballFocus.com, Mangold has been dominant this season. He has allowed only one sack and had just two penalties called on him. He's rated at 22.6 on the PFF scale, while the second best center, Dallas' Travis Frederick, is a distant 15.0. Mangold also leads all centers in both run and pass blocking.

Mangold suffered a high-ankle sprain last week and may not play Sunday in the final game against Miami. This injury could also jeopardize his Pro Bowl availability.
