Today is the day. All NFL teams have to trim their rosters down to 53 players by 4PM ET. The Gang Green will have to cut 22 players today in order to get down to the allowed 53. Check back throughout the day, as we'll be updating the list of released players.
LB Jason Babin, a 12-year veteran, who signed with the Jets last year as a free agent and started in 4 games, is the biggest casualty thus far. QB Matt Flynn has been released as well despite having an impressive preseason game against the Eagles.
