Jets place Decker on IR

Admin - October 12, 2016

Things went from bad to worse for the New York Jets earlier today, as they placed starting WR Eric Decker on injured reserve, pretty much ending his season. Decker, who caught 80 passes for 1,027 yards and 12 TDs last season, missed the last two games after getting injured in Week 3 against the Chiefs.

In Decker's absence, WR Quincy Enunwa, who currently leads the team with 27 receptions, will become a fll-time starter.Enunwa, a 6th round pick in 2014, has been having a breakout season thus far. He had career high 92 receiving yards against the Bills in Week 2 and also scored the first touchdown of his NFL career in Week 1 against Cincinnati.
