It looks like S Jamal Adams will be the only player representing the New York Jets in this season's Pro Bowl. As of December 4th, 2019, he leads all NFL defensive backs with 142,676 votes. Adams, who was also selected to the Pro Bowl last year, was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week in Week 10 when he recorded two sacks against the Giants and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
It was Adams' second defensive touchdown this season. He also had a pick six in Week 3 against the New England Patriots. Adams started in all 12 games this season and participated in 99% of all defensive snaps. He has 64 tackles (52 solo), 8 tackles for loss and leads all NFL defensive backs with 6.5 sacks.
Adams has never missed a game in his 3-year NFL career but it looks like this streak might come to an end this Sunday. He is listed as week-to-week after suffering a foot injury against the Bengals.
