Jets get top RB in Draft

The New York Jets traded their #38 and #146 selections in exchange for the Giants' #36 to select RB Breece Hall from Iowa State. Hall, 5'11, 217 lbs was ranked as the best running back in the Draft. He's a two-time Big 12 offensive player of the year.

In his junior year Hall carried the ball 253 times for 1,452 yards (5.8 yards per carry), scored 20 TDs and also caught 36 passes for 302 yards with three TDs.  As a sophomore, he ran for 1,572 yards and scored 21 rushing touchdowns. During his NCAA career, Hall set an FBS record scoring a rushing touchdown in 24 consecutive games and became Iowa State's all-time leading scorer.

The Jets will also have #101 overall pick later tonight in the 3rd round. They will have two more selections in the 4th round tomorrow - #111 and #117.
